Method
Every asset carries an NFC tag or QR code. Any phone reads it — the app opens if installed, a web page if not.
Short, data-only templates for each asset kind, task by task with photos, on iPhone or iPad, online or off.
Findings roll up into a health score per asset and per site, so attention goes where the risk is. The health score summarises recorded inspection findings and defect severity for each asset. It indicates recorded condition — it is not a compliance status or a statement of operational availability.
Reports, registers and records generated from the inspection history, to support LOLER, PUWER and client audit requirements. The app records pre-use checks, routine inspections and the thorough examinations made by a competent person; completing an app checklist is not in itself a statutory thorough examination.
